Inside The Freeth

The Freeth offers luxury, dog friendly self catering holiday accommodation for up to 18 guests across 9 bedrooms.

Kitchen

The open plan country kitchen is full of period features, beams and a range fireplace, but all equipment is up to date. 

It has a four door AGA, separate electric cooker, American style fridge freezer, 2 dishwashers, double sink and a microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped for keen cooks, or perfect if you choose to have a chef.

There is a large kitchen table to comfortably seat 10, with south-facing views across the lawn to the fields beyond.

Sitting Room

A lovely, large, light-filled room with double aspect windows. polished wooden floors and a log fire, with lots of squishy sofas and masses of room for everyone.  Perfect for drinks before dinner or reading the Sunday papers.

Dining Room

With a large dining table that can seat 18 in comfort, this is perfect for a celebratory meal or long catch-up chats with friends and family.

There is a wine fridge on hand and if required, we can recommend wonderful chefs to cook fantastic meals for you on site.

Bedrooms

The Freeth sleeps 18 in nine bedrooms.  All are beautifully furnished with wonderfully comfy beds and lovely linen. The only thing that will disturb your sleep will be the birdsong in the morning.

Several of the rooms have zip and link beds so can be flexible about being twins or king-size doubles.  We can also supply travel cots and anti-allergy bedding on request (please note that one bedroom has a low beam at the entrance).

• Bed 1 - Kingsize double with ensuite bathroom.

• Bed 2 - Kingsize double or twin with adjacent family bathroom.

• Bed 3 - Kingsize double or twin, sharing family bathroom on floor below.

• Bed 4 - Twin only, sharing family bathroom on floor below.  Low beam at entrance to room but good headroom inside bedroom itself.

• Bedroom 5 - Kingsize double with ensuite bathroom.

•  Bedroom 6 - Kingsize double or twin with adjacent family bathroom.

•  Bedroom 7 - Kingsize double with ensuite bathroom.

• Bedroom 8 - Twin, sharing bathroom on floor below (but has got zip and link mattresses so can be an occasional double).

  Bedroom 9 - Twin, sharing bathroom on floor below.
