THE FREETH

Large, luxury, self-catering holiday home with private, heated pool. Surrounded by idyllic English countryside.

The Freeth is a home from home in the peaceful Herefordshire countryside. The wisteria-clad house is spacious, beautifully finished and can accommodate large groups of up to 18 guests.

Originally a hunting lodge on the edge of the ancient Netherwood Estate, The Freeth has been lovingly restored into a stylish, comfortable house.

The house has a private, heated indoor swimming pool situated in the courtyard. Complete with changing rooms and south facing windows overlooking the garden and pond, the pool is a popular feature with children and adults.

The Freeth is hidden away up a no-through road, it’s totally private and surrounded by some of the most unspoilt, beautiful countryside in England.

The house is large, beautifully finished and feels spacious. There are plenty of rooms and private spaces to retreat to, as well as large dining areas for groups to gather. It’s a great house for occasions, celebrations and family get togethers.

The Freeth has a well maintained garden, beautifully designed by Chelsea Flower Show winner Robert Myers.

The walled garden captures the best of the evening sun and is a great place to relax and have a drink, and when the Wisteria is out it offers a beautiful backdrop for long lunches outside.

The Freeth is dog friendly, and there are plenty of beautiful walks on the doorstep. We have a great selection of local pubs, there are lakes on the estate for some wild swimming or fishing, and we have bikes for guests to use.

Netherwood Estate is also home to the longest private narrow gauge steam railway in the country. Subject to availability, a private steam train experience for guests can be arranged.

Whether you are looking for relaxation or adventure, you can find it within the confines of this beautiful estate.
